9.2.7.40 Visa Subclass 457 (Temporary) Work (Skilled) - Previously Subclass 457 Business Long Stay (Temporary)

Note: DIAC has advised that, from 25 November 2012, visa subclass 457 Business - Long Stay (Temporary) is renamed Temporary Work (Skilled) and comprises 3 streams:

  • standard business sponsorship,
  • labour agreements, and
  • service sellers.

 

This visa subclass will no longer allow applications from clients under the immunities and privileges provisions from 25 November 2012. New applications by persons under immunities and privileges provisions will be advised to apply for a visa subclass 403 Temporary Work (International Relations).
