Recipients of CPS must participate in a CDEP Scheme for at least one day each fortnight in order to continue receiving the supplement. Accordingly, if a CPS recipient is absent from the programme due to overseas travel of longer than one fortnight, they will lose eligibility for CPS.
If the CDEP Scheme participant travels as part of their project, they may continue to be eligible for CPS as long as they remain qualified for their main payment. Most main payment types are portable for up to 6 weeks.
