11.4.5.20 Exit Interview under the Vulnerable Welfare Payment Recipients Measure

Exit interview

At the exit interview, the delegate will discuss with the person the transition to standard payment arrangements and the final disbursement of any remaining funds in the income management account. The delegate will also offer the following options for the person to consider as appropriate:

  • voluntary income management (11.7),
  • payment nominee, and/or
  • Centrepay.

 

Note: A person may become income managed under the Disengaged Youth, Long-term Welfare Payment Recipients Measures or Child Protection Measure, after exiting the Vulnerable Welfare Payment Recipient Measure.

 

The delegate may also encourage people exiting income management to access or continue to access financial management support services (11.1.2).
