11.1.8.20 Non-contact by an Income Managed Person

Non-contact

If a person does not contact the delegate, contact will be initiated by the delegate every 8 - 12 weeks. If contact cannot be made after 3 attempts no further follow-up action is required. Contact will be initiated again after the next 8 - 12 weeks. This can be by phone or at face-to-face visits.

A person who is income managed under the Cape York or Child Protection Measures will preferably have ongoing contact with the delegate. Ongoing contacts provide an opportunity for the person to check on and arrange any necessary changes to allocations.
