Common terms

There are a number of terms that are used specifically in relation to agreements. Some of the common terms are:

• scheduled international social security agreement,
• totalisation,
• pro-rata,
• embargoes,
• reciprocity,
• agreement pensions,
• autonomous pensions, and
• direct deduction rate.
