3.7.1 JETCCFA Rate Calculation - Overview

Summary

JETCCFA is a subsidy for the cost of approved child care required by a person to undertake the activities specified in an EPP. It pays most of the 'gap fee' after CCB has been deducted from the fee charged.

JETCCFA is worked out separately for each of a person's children in approved child care. JETCCFA applies for a specific number of hours in a week and for a specified period, determined by the nature and duration of the activities specified in a person's EPP.

A week for JETCCFA purposes is the same as a week for CCB purposes, i.e. Monday to Sunday.
