This topic explains the limitation on the payment of JETCCFA for care that is not attended.
JETCCFA is paid in certain circumstances when a person is charged for care that their child does not attend. The absence rules that apply to the payment of JETCCFA are the same as those that apply to the payment of CCB.
The circumstances are categorised into 2 groups - allowable (1.1.A.70) and approved absences (1.1.A.75).
Note: Absences (1.1.A.05) and additional absences (1.1.A.17) are applicable to services that have commenced operating under CCMS.
If a person is charged for a session of care that their child does not attend, and the person cannot claim the absence as an allowable or approved absence then the person is not eligible for JETCCFA for the session.
