2.6.3 CCB Eligibility Requirements Relating to Hours

Introduction

This section explains the number of hours of CCB an individual may be eligible for in a week (1.1.E.20).

 

Approved care

Every applicant who fulfils the eligibility requirements for CCB qualifies for up to 24 hours per child per week of CCB for approved care. To be eligible for up to 50 hours per child per week of CCB, both the applicant, and their partner (1.1.P.30), if they have one, must satisfy the work/training/study test for approved care, or an exception to that test. An applicant may qualify for more than 50 hours of CCB if they satisfy additional requirements.

 

Registered care

To be eligible for CCB for registered care both the applicant and their partner (1.1.P.30), if they have one, must satisfy the work/training/study test for registered care, or an exception to that test. If the test, or an exception to the test is satisfied, the applicant will be eligible for up to 50 hours per child per week of CCB for registered care.
