1.1.P.110 Presumption of parentage (FTB)

Definition

For the purposes of FTB, presumption of parentage is based on the assumption that the person being asked to provide child support (1.1.C.20) is a parent of the child.

Example: Where a person is applying for an assessment of an ex-nuptial child (1.1.E.60), the Child Support Registrar must be satisfied that the person being asked to provide child support is a parent of the child.
