A period of care during which JETCCFA can be paid for a child to become familiar with the staff, activities and surroundings of an approved child care service. For JETCCFA, orientation can be not more than 2 weeks commencing on a Monday. The number of hours of JETCCFA granted to a JETCCFA claimant in the orientation weeks must not exceed the JETCCFA hours (1.1.J.100) of care the claimant normally needs in a week to undertake their JETCCFA activities.
