1.1.D.80 Disabled person (CCB)

Definition

For the purposes of CCB, a disabled person is a person who:

  • is receiving DSP under the Social Security Act 1991, or
  • is receiving an invalidity service pension under Division 4 of Part III of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986, or
  • is participating in an independent living program that is recognised by the CRS, or
  • has been diagnosed by a registered medical practitioner or clinical psychologist as impaired to a significant degree, whether or not they are in receipt of assistance from the Commonwealth for the incapacity.
