1.1.D.50 Day in care (FTB)

Definition

For the purposes of assessing a pattern of care, (1.1.P.70) for FTB, a 'day in care' is usually where an individual (1.1.I.90) has the overnight care of a child.

On some occasions, care may be expressed in hours and converted into days in care to establish a pattern of care.

The number of days in care for a child may be used to work out an individual's percentage of care for that child.

Act reference: FAAct Part 3 Division 1 Subdivision D Determination of percentage of care
