For the purposes of FTB, a bereavement claim refers to either a claim:
There are no bereavement provisions for CCB for the death of an eligible child.
A claim can be made by an individual (1.1.I.90), in substitution for a deceased person who was eligible for FTB or CCB, regardless of whether the deceased person made a claim for FTB or CCB.
The circumstances of the deceased person are used to assess eligibility for FTB and CCB, not the circumstances of the applicant.
